Felba (MordeKoy)

From here you may recognize another character I've posted to artstation but with a more developed model. These characters were spawned by the same old animation which I created many months ago.

My goal was to create an old-looking feline spirit with a violet colour scheme. In the original animation, I was very tempted to make this character a cowardly pussycat. When I revamped the model and started over, I removed the "inward eyes" that I was such a fan of at the time, and gave Felba a less cowardly appearance. I also created a rather detailed texture for Felba's body which becomes more transparent the further it is from the camera's view, creating a ghostly glitch effect.

Then I realized that this creature is supposed to be capable of combat. Changes needed to be made.

I began working on a "Second mode" for Felba, with the place-holder name of Felba Mach 2. With my original idea not necessarily being a pussy cat, I realized that this character would look very threatening with a lion's mane. I also created a short animation featuring Felba's transformation, which I will upload in a few days.

Koy and Felba become reluctantly close throughout their adventure.

Felba's "Mach 2" form is incredibly intimidating to Koy.
