As you can tell, I glanced at a photo of a snake when I made her snakes.
Adiane was a masterful thief, but one day she was turned into a gorgon- snakes in her hair and all. She seems to have no effect on those who look upon her (e.g. they won't turn to stone) but unfortunately, the snakes she's not bound to aren't co-operative with her. She even carries around anti-venom for if (or rather, when) they bite her.
Adiane's rig has been problematic to say the least- I spend about two hours trying to get them right and I'ms till far from happy with it. As for her design, she is an ironic exaggeration of the "femme fatale" villain archetype, but with a pretty comical "excuse" for a practical reason why she needs to dress the way she does. In short, the snakes in her hair had a type of villain they wanted to be, and they have a set of fangs to help convince her. It all works out in the end, though- and I can't wait to see her and the rest of the villains come to life.
